Background Music for Videos

Background Music for Videos: Music mixed into the soundtrack of a video for the purpose of setting a particular mood, amplifying the emotional dynamics of the content, connecting with a specific audience, projecting the personality or character of the presenter—or all of the above. Background music for video is most often pre-existing music that has been licensed for broadcast across a particular channel (television, radio, the Web, etc.). Companies that use a lot of music in their video productions may elect to create a brand music library of pre-cleared and brand-approved songs to insure that all music is legal and consistent with the company’s audio identity or “brand sound.”
