Sound Design

The practice of creating the overall audio experience for a film or video production, live performance, app, or physical (usually electronic) product. Sound designers collaborate with composers, foley (sound effect) artists, computer programmers and UI specialists, and industrial designers to create the music and sounds that bring audience/customer experiences to life, taking into account the narrative and emotive goals of the content along with the need to create a distinctive aural impression that sets the experience apart.
